My name is Jes and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I really like bright colors and space graphics:
I’ve been an avid writer since I can remember. For years I kept journals, wrote fanfic, did poetry readings, etc. Now I’m keen on finally finishing a work of fiction and getting it out into the world!
This year I’m gearing up for NanoWriMo with a lot more prep and the help of Whitney Hill, my writing coach. She’s helping me tackle everything from authorship branding to methods of publishing, to getting through my anxiety and managing my ADHD in regards to my writing habits, etc!
I’m currently working on several projects, but my big passion one is a YA story about an alien invasion, a queer friend squad, and what will (hopefully) be a lot of humor.
Eventually I’ll hire an editor to slim down the number of exclamation points I use, but in the mean time I’m just excited to be writing, and I appreciate you taking the time to read this!
