Cover Reveal Success

The cover reveal for my next book, A Mean Piece of Water, went amazing! I reached out to my bookclub and instagram pals and they showed up in mass to help me share it. I am so grateful for how many people support me.

Plus. Y’all. This cover. I’m so glad I planned ahead to work with the same illustrator and hand letterer. Seeing my two book children side-by-side is a dream.

I try and make sure I always have a call to action, and it worked. I gained about a dozen followers over the course of the day! I considered waiting to do the cover reveal until pre-orders were ready, but I just couldn’t sit on it any longer.

It really helps my editing morale when I have things like the cover art to distract me from the tedious final edits. Ordering things like stickers and bookmarks and hand lettered covers makes me so happy when I want to throw the book I wrote and have read TWENTY times across the room, because I love it, but I already know what’s going to happen. Lol.

Cheers to those of you out there doing the indie author grind. I’m hoping to get to just draft my little heart out come November, so just got to do this last push and it’ll be time for A Mean Piece of Water to go out into the world.

Hello! I'm an aspiring author of humorous books about space gays and alien invasions. I might occasionally toss in a dragon or mermaid, and I can't wait to share my weirdness with the world.
